Letter from the Administrator

Dear Friends and Families,

The month of February was active and included a huge super bowl party (socially distanced to the best of our abilities) and a Valentine’s Day celebration as well. I’m thankful to the staff who went out of their way to make the occasions festive! February also included our first COVID vaccinations and the hope to be able to return to normal, sooner rather than later. We will continue to closely follow CDC guidelines and MS Dept of Health recommendations to keep our staff and residents as safe as possible. As I write this, we have no COVID positive staff or residents and the dining area is once again bustling at mealtimes, albeit with shields and dividers in place.

We’ve experienced some inclement winter weather, and though it was pretty, we are looking forward to a new spring season and more outside activities! We do currently offer outside family and friends’ visitation with restrictions and encourage you to reach out to our social services department and schedule a time to come visit. I’ve tried to meet as many of you as possible during these type of visits and hope to meet many more in the coming months.

As always, thank you for allowing Canton Manor to partner with you in the care and support of your loved ones.
